SensWide Services

SensWide Employment is the employment division of Vicdeaf. It is funded by the federal government to help jobseekers who are Deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, low vision or blind to find and keep a job. SensWide provides employment support to jobseekers living in the Melbourne Metropolitan area. It has three offices, one in the Melbourne CBD, one in Frankston and another in Preston.

SensWide has six Employment Consultants who are fluent in Auslan; they can help with writing application letters, attending job interviews, contacting potential employers and more.

SensWide can provide Auslan interpreters for job interviews and job training, and can apply for funding for equipment (eg: TTYs, paging systems) that will help clients to do their jobs.
