Seeking Deaf poets for a performance

The Australian Poetry Centre presents 'Poetry without Sound.' An evening performance by Melbourne poets, both hearing and deaf where the words will be translated for all audience members. The event will be held at the newly opened Wheeler Centre: Books Writing and Ideas, 176 Little Londsdale Street. Tickets will be $15.00.The Australian Poetry Centre’s mission is to strengthen the presence and profile of Australian poetry within Australia and overseas; to promote the writing, reading and appreciation of poetry as an integral part of personal and community life. It is a not-for-profit, incorporated association. It is able to run these programs through the generosity of our supporters.
