People with Disabilities - Get Involved in the National Inquiry into Long Term Care and Support

The Australian Government has funded AFDO to assist people with disabilities and their organisations from rural and remote areas to participate in the National Inquiry into Long Term Care and Support.

Assistance can be provided for:
• Getting your members together to develop your ideas
• Help with putting a submission together
• Travel costs to attend a public hearing
• Other ideas

There are 2 stages to the Inquiry. The first stage finishes on August 18, 2010. The second stage finishes April 2011. Assistance can be for one or both stages.

What do you need to do to get assistance?

Write or email us about what you want to do and how much it will cost.

The deadline for this is Friday June 24, 2010. (As some of the hearings will be before this date if you would like travel assistance to attend the hearings let us know as soon as possible.)
