    How to look after our sore backs?

    Where: John Pierce Centre, Spirit of the Deaf Community, 25-35 High Street, Prahran

    Learn more about your spine structure and Sacroiliac Joint (area between legs, spine, pelvic) which can cause back pain.
    Learn Specific exercises/ postures and breathing for sore backs
    Learn the art of the Proper Standing Posture and Walking meditation
    We will also do fun and energy releasing warm ups to loosen our bodies, minds and spirits
    Complete your day with mind-body relaxation and meditation


    Led by a Deaf health professional in Auslan, Karli Dettman (Yoga Instructor & Psychotherapist)

    Karli is an university qualified and a member of YTAA and ACA. She has an Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching and Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training as well as BA and MA degrees in Psychology and Mental Health Counselling in late 1990s. She also has First Aid Certificate.
