Intake Worker

The Intake Worker can help Deaf and hard of hearing people on any matter. The Intake Worker can be contacted by TTY, email or you can come into Vicdeaf at East Melbourne and see the Intake Worker.

The Intake Worker may refer you to another program or organisation. If you are looking for accommodation or employment support, you will be referred to a specialist agency who can work with you.

The Intake Worker service is professional and private. The Intake Worker is available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9.30 am – 2.30 pm.

Metro Case Management

Case Managers provide case management services, advocacy, referral and support with issues that impact on the lives of people who are deaf/hard of hearing. They can assist in a variety of matters such as legal or court matters, Centrelink issues, financial issues, family/personal issues and other issues as requested. Regional Case Management

Vicdeaf also provides the same Case Management services described above in Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Shepparton and Sale. To contact, visit the Regional Service Locations.

Counselling

The counsellor offers counselling to clients on a variety of issues that may include depression, life issues, anxiety and unhappiness. The counsellor is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
